...I did absolutely nothing. I have lazed about, watched some TV, talked to my Mom, ate Pizza, read my email...yup that is all. We have not begun the taking down of the decorations. First, we always wait until AFTER New Years Day, and second...it is SUCH a pain in the butt! Taking them OUT of boxes is so easy, and putting them up for the season, so merry! But trying to fit them BACK into boxes, and fit THOSE boxes back into bigger boxes, and sealing them shut until the next year? What a pain! So no, we have not started, and I hope to wake up one day and magic faeries put them away for me!
So anyone sad they did not even make it to the ball dropping last night...I did nothing today! So all is right with the world!
P.S. My Sister Sam sent this video to me. It is All American Rejects' version of Britney's Womanizer. Not BAD at all, I have to say!

9 meaningful meanderings:
I refuse to listen to that song.
That's all.
Sometimes you need a day to do nothing in particular. Good for you!
Ahhh - the dread of putting the decor away! It must really just be the 'way it is'. I did it chunks this year, over the course of a few days- it was not as bad as I was thought.
Happy New Year!
very interesting version...
I hate to put away decorations too! I actually like it when they are all gone though, sometimes Christmas decorations start to feel kind of overwhelming. I like simple.
I pretty much did nothing yesterday, too. Did some laundry, ate at the inlaws for breakfast and dinner, took a 2 hour nap, watched the office with jaren.... crafted. That's about it and it was wonderful!
I'm sorry, but me and Shelby have the best version of that video and you know it.
Give mad props to them but not US?
I'm offended.
I took down the tree and called it quits. haha. It shouldn't take me long to get the rest put away because I didn't put that much up in the first place.
Doing nothing on New Years is my idea of heaven. Putting away the Christmas decorations, well...that's my idea of HELL! I'll be in hell tomorrow btw. *Smiles* :0)
