Why do I love Blogging?
Well first off, I had no idea I would end up loving Blogging. I thought I would try it, and like many things before, I would be bored within a few tries and get nowhere, so I'd just forget about it. But instead, I began finding many people who I had a lot in common with. A LOT of fellow Mormons and that wasn't even on purpose, that just strangely happened, but is very nice to have that in common. And so I fell in love.
Why I love blogging is pretty easy. I can be myself, express myself, and not worry (well not too much) that I will make a fool of myself. I am free to BE me in my little blog. I threw caution to the wind and decided to be brutally honest about myself, the problems I face, and I have gotten advice and support and friendship, what is not to love? I finally found a medium, where it is okay to be me, because I know I am not alone, that other people feel the same ways I have or do, and no one is judging. I like that.
I like being able to pour out my feelings, whether good or bad, and it not only gives me a sense of release, expressing those feelings, but when someone leaves a sweet comment, it warms my heart and sometimes starts the healing of an open wound. I have often felt like when I speak no one listens, but for some reason, HERE, when I write, people do hear me, they don't brush aside my remarks, they read them and respond. Blogging has been helpful to me. Almost like a form of therapy, because I am not hiding in my shell, which I am so good at, I am standing outside my shell, shouting my feelings for the whole world to see and read. And the fact that I have found some really wonderful people, who I consider friends, and who consider ME a friend, it is just amazing. That is why I love blogging, it has helped me and given me the precious gift of friends.
I have SO many people who deserve this award, but to put them ALL down, and link to them would take me hours, so I will list 6. And I invite anyone who reads this to go out and give this award to someone who deserves it.
1)Whitney of Mr. & Mrs. Potatohead
Whitney is just an amazing girl, full of spirit and she makes me smile with her sweetness.
2)Mary of Mary the 1st I Am, I Am
Mary is just someone who keeps on trucking, and shares the journey to her destinations with humor.
3)Lee of Perpetual Burn
Lee is an amazing girl who makes me laugh and cry, I feel as if I have known her since she was born.
4)Kristina of Pulsipher Predilictions
Kristina is one of the kindest people I know. She is also the most bizarre and funny girl I have yet to meet.
5)Marie of The Rayce River & Sisters Company
Marie is brutally honest with her feelings, experiences and past, and she makes you smile along with her.
6)Alicia at Yaya Stuff
I think Alicia/Yaya is one of the strongest people I know. She has had so many things thrown into her path, but she doesn't give up on life, she keeps on living it and will be rewarded for her endurance, I just know it.
