I went and saw the new Wolverine movie tonight and I LIKED it! Sure, what is NOT to like? Hugh Jackman running around naked at one point with his bumm for all the world to see? Ryan Reynolds in this really awesome scene with his 2 swords in the first 1/3 of the movie? SO GOOD. And you really LEARN some amazing things that you would never know from the original movies. Lots of things you never realized you had questions about, will be answered. And no I will hold my tongue and not spill the secrets, even though that is physically HURTING me not to! Hugh is so good as Wolverine, and Liev is phenomenal as Sabretooth, I knew he would be good, but the part should have ALWAYS been his, he OWNS it! And I loved the character Gambit, he should totally get his own movie, the character and his power are just so cool, it would make a good story. Check out the muscles on these guys for this movie!! Hugh and Ryan especially had to PACK the muscle on, LOOK at them! I could look all day, LOL.
One of the excercise dvd's I ordered got in today. The Dance off the Inches - 15 Minute Express. Sam and I did it tonight, and man, it was hard! Learning dance steps, wow it has been WAY too long, but even when you mess up and are doing the wrong move, if you are moving then you are still excercising I figure. She was doing this one little jig like thing I had no idea how to do it, so I just jumped and jiggled about, and continued to sweat so I figure all is good. I drank like a fish when we were done and then showered immediately. I HATE being sweaty!
Rented some movies today. I hope The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is not too depressing, though I won't wach it tonight. I also rented 100 Feet with Famke Janssen where she kills her abusive husband and is put on house arrest and then her husband haunts her there....where she can't escape! I am excited about that one, sounds very cool. I also rented Splinter where a couple and an ex con and his girl have to work together in a gas station because a killer parasite is after them. And lastly, I rented Shooting Star, some movie where a star goes to rehab and hates it so she ends up in some town in Utah (ha ha!!) and stars in the town's rendition of Taming of the Shrew. I know, I have such diverse taste. Horror, drama, comedy, I love 'em all.
Then when I got out I did some emailing and other stuff and around 9:30pm, I met a roadblock SLAM in the face. I am standing up for myself this time, so I am standing firm, I am tired of putting so much out there and then having people step on me like I am less than them. Why do I always have to give in? I BELIEVE in what I am standing up for. It just drains me though, it leaves me angry and upset and frustrated. And I am so tired of feeling like this all the time, I don't need people adding to the feelings. Agghhhh! So this song, while maybe over played, just fits my mood right now.

6 meaningful meanderings:
Curious case of benjamin button IS depressing.
And slow.
Slooooooooooooooooow.
Barely any action.
It's like okay he's getting younger.
That's it.
And he's still getting younger.
WHEN DO THE ALIENS COME IN DAMNIT?!
I really want to start using exercise tapes. But whenever I say that, I pull one out and never use it.
Love the new background! ORANGE! Whoo hoo!!!
I hate doing workout tapes. I always feel like a baffoon when I'm 10 steps behind!
I wondered if The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was any good. You'll have to write down what you think of it. And Hugh Jackman is hooooooootttt. Mmmmmm.
Sorry I haven't stopped by your blog for a while...I've been caught up trying to find a job and I forget to blog. Love your background, though!
Hope you enjoy the movies you rented. And, good luck with the exercise tape.
Not overly fond of many songs from that particular group but that one....well that song gets played ALOT in my "F-U" stream.
I love love loved Benjamin Button!!! I don't know what you'll think of it, but I thought it was brilliant. It is certainly long, but I was enthralled the entire time. I hope you like it.
