Goooood Mornin'

My suggestion is you play the music from the video as you read, it just fits today's good mood!

Today was a very full day. I got up early because the family had plans to spend time together. We actually went to the mall first, which is odd, as my parents HATE the mall, but it was my Dad's idea, so okay. He did choose my least favorite mall sadly, West Farms. Sure it has the Blue Moon, but that stuff is very pricey. The reason it is my least favorite is that most of it's stores are not affordable. You have Tiffany's, Louis Vuitton, Steve Madden, Bare Essenctuals, Godiva, etc. It has some of the stores I like to peek in, like Hot Topic and Bath & Body Works, etc. But the majority are higher end stores. Not that I haven't been in HIGHER end malls. Go to the Millenia Mall in Florida...that place I was afraid to touch anything in the corridors!! But it was fun to stroll the floors with the whole family. Sam got Mom some Munson's cream centered chocolates, she loves Munsons' but rarely gets it. My parents were astonished to see the teen boy standing bare chested in front of Hollister, please the kid was like pre-pubescent, gross! LOL. We had fun in Brookstone, they had these self-contained things that housed 2 tiny frogs, we had to be dragged away from those, the frogs were so cute!!

Then we went to lunch at Olive Garden. And because it was like 2 or so, we only waited maybe 2 minutes before being seated. Lovely! It is never-ending pasta bowl time, so my Dad and Katie were all set, but as I have a hard time (okay can't really, only ravioli, lasagna and gnocchi) I get my newest fave, the Chicken and Gnocchi Veronese, it is so yummy!! Mom got cheese ravioli with meat sauce and Sandy got her beloved Seafood Alfredo. I was in bliss. And knowing we were bringing the piece of cheesecake and Black Tie mousse cake home for later, I must have had too much and it expanded, because all of a sudden, I HATED food. Oy. We stopped by Target, because we are looking for a new pressure cooker, and I found a new cardigan. Okay I found a few ones I don't have, but I limited myself to this one that is a deep teal/turquoise. I love the ones by this company, they have long sleeves so the sleeves go to my knuckles which I love. I have it in this new color, black, white, brown, lilac, light blue, light green, brazen pink. LOL. My typical fall/winter outfit is jeans, a graphic tee, a cardigan, vans/faux-coverse and maybe a cute scarf. I really want some with patterns, like stripes or embroidery, etc. Here's to hoping! LOL. I love them, what can I say?! I would also love a gray one and they had a hunter green one. I also bought this shirt I have been looking at, but wanted my Mom's opinion on. It says "I'm just one big freaking ray of sunshine aren't I?", and when Mom saw it she couldn't stop laughing and said I HAD to buy that.

When we got home, Katie got ready to go bellydance and the other 3 took naps. I went and rented the movie we wanted to watch later, then stopped by Payless, and sadly found nothing like the shoes I wanted. I went into the Fashion Bug and found a brown pair I liked, but was feeling really cheap so $30 seemed too high today. Then I decided to drive to Plainville and go to Old Navy. They were having a HUGE graphic tee sale, but here is the problem. The girls tees run very SMALL, so with my tummy I don't want being clung to, and my enormous busom, I can't buy these, and they are so THIN and soft, my tee requirement. And the guys? Something happened 2 years ago and they are all so heavy, I cannot wear shirts that heavy. I like them thin and soft. So I lucked out there and at Marshall's. I decided to stop in the arts/crafts store, A.C. Moore, in case they had anything cute for Halloween and wasn't seeing anything I felt I HAD to own, but as I passed an aisle, some pendants and beads caught my eye. WHY, oh WHY?! I never go in the bead aisle, but I love pendants, I am a necklace addict, and today my eyes got caught. And they expanded the jewelery making aisle to 2 1/2 aisles!! So while I was fine with ignoring beads (I find beading stressful, and prefer pendants to be the focus), the pendants, all the pendants were SO alluring. I luckily pared it down to 3 pendant, 4 chains, 1 thing so I can extend those 4 chains a few more inches, and these...round things. LOL. But there were so many cute ones, it was hard. Even ones they consider for charms, I would LOVE on a necklace. So with a successful shopping trip, I headed home.

My Dad ended up pleading too tired to the movie and Sandy didn't want to see it, so with her, we watched an NCIS and then she headed up for a bath. So it was me and Mom and we watched the movie she had picked. Arachnophobia. You know it is funny, I watch all sorts of horror movies, hacking and blood spurting, etc, but this movie always scares me! And it had been a long time since I had seen it last because my heart was beating so fast and I got scared so bad when I felt something crawl on me...it was the air. Oy. For the last 25 minutes my Mom sat beside me, because that is when ALL the spiders show up!! Aggghhh! And I keep looking around, looking at corners, making sure no spiders are there. I am going to be paranoid for at least 24 hours, I know it. I checked the toilet, the shower (actually made Mom check for me, she kills spiders for me!), keep checking my glass, etc. Spiders terrify me and so this is my movie weak spot, I am terrified of Arachnophobia, not enough NOT to watch it, my heart is still too fast, 2 hours later!!

And here is a wonderful pic of me...eating grass!! Yup thought it would make you laugh so thus I took it! :)

Don't ever bring up that movie again. I started shivering with fear. That movie still stresses me out and scares the poo out of me.

I hate spiders, but I enjoy that movie. I have yet to find a horror movie that really freaks me out. Only time I've really been scared during a movie was actually not to do with the movie... I was sprawled on my bed watching it (bedroom door was the opposite way to where I was facing) and my Mam's friend came past my door, saw how in to the movie I was, snuck in to my bedroom quietly enough for me not to hear her, and grabbed me around the ankle.

What a fun day!

I love cardigans. I wear them all the time. When I moved offices for the summer, people always asked why I wore cardigans. Because they are cute!!

Wow you did as much shopping in one day as I do in a year - but then I hate all malls - I am a disgrace to my gender.

Love the pic thanks for sharing.
