This particular song is sticking in my head. It is not where I am, as many of you know, but it kind of encompasses where I WANT to be. Yeah I would like to be in this place NOW, but if it could ever happen period, I would really love that. I am not sure I feel the hope of this song even, not yet. But it is where I hope to be someday.
"For the first time is such a long. long time, I know, I'll be okay", now doesn't that sound wonderful? And "This cycle never ends, gotta fall in order to mend", well that sounds kind of where I am now. But the chorus...it just makes me want to feel that hope. And maybe that is progress even? Wanting to GET to a place where I HOPE the pain goes away? And if THAT ever does happen for me, maybe I will be able to play this song and FEEL it, feel that it IS a brand new day. I was just listening to the song earlier and these thoughts went through my mind. I WANT to feel this way...and hope it IS really possible.

For a second, I thought that was Clive Owen... Dangit. But still a hot guy!
I love this song!
I really like that song!
I have it on repeat now!
It is nice to see that you also identify with the words of the song. Song always makes a great way of pondering life and identifying it through the emotion of song.
Great song!
What a nice thought to share. I am with you. I am not where I want to be, and the depression that I have been dealing with hurts everyone around me. But I have hope. Thanks for sharing.
OMG! LOVE HIM!
Excuse me but could you please stop posting about my husband........(lol!)
Seriously, Joshua radin is my celebrity crush, my "gimme" if you will.
This song of his is one of my favorites. I saw him live a few months ago and in between every song I yelled "Brand New Day" but he never played it. I got to talk to him afterward and I asked him why he didn't play it and it was bc he couldn't play it alone bc of the duet instruments. Makes sense. I'm SO bummed...he just came back to my city last week and I totally lost track of time/date and MISSED HIM. Wahhhhh!!!!!
Songs are a great way to get out emotion!
