Yay, whoopee, and Yowza!!

I have a third follower, and this one really counts because it's not someone I've seen in church face to face! So Yay! *does a jig* And yay to all the other new blogger friends I am making, you guys rock! I haven't met this many nice people...well ever. And you are all making me feel so welcome and aren't being thrown off by my being so upfront about my depression and other disorders. I had figured if I was upfront right away, people could decide if that scared them off right then and there, and I wouldn't have to worry about starting to really care for someone only to be hurt later if they rejected me or whatever, does that make sense?
Cuz when I decide to like you, I am SO there for you and will really be a friend. I take the word friend seriously, I guess because I'd want the same. And so while I am very naive in some aspects due to circumstances, in others I feel like I am an old soul and have a lot to contribute. And the ones I am not so knowledgeable on, well isn't that what good friends are for?
So when I saw Flunkies, I mean Followers was at 3, and there were 7 comments on my last post, I felt like celebrating! I really only can do a jig because I cannot dance. Which is weird, I took dance lessons for 8 years but sooo not the same. So here's my jig. And a cute panda pic to say Thanks for being awesome!!

Another Reason to Love One Tree Hill

It introduces you to new music like Katie Herzig's Forevermore, which I have on my player thing over there, but nobody listens to it I am positive, so now you have to! The chorus has a song my mom taught my siblings and I when we were little!! I LOVE this song!

Why Max is Cute Above All Other Dogs?

Well did your dog, after you tried to put him in a bowl (hey I thought it would be cute okay?!), balk as if insulted, and then when you put the bowl on the floor, crawl inside it on his own and curl into a ball? That's right...be jealous.

MAX IS MINE!!

Ohhh the Power of Apple Fritters

I was so excited when I got to bite into one of these warm nuggets of deliciousness today! I thought I wasn't going to get one this year, which would have been a travesty of epic proportions, because it's so hard to get them now. The Festival is in MY town, but people drive from ALL over Connecticut to get in line for these fritters made by this church near the Town Green. They have all rights to selling apple fritters during this 40 year old festival, and they have perfected them!
On the weekend, the line that forms for this ONE booth is staggering. You will be in line for hours, I am not joking. My dad and sister Katie stood in line for 2 hours last year, in the RAIN, to bring some home! Ohhhh they were sooooo good. Sugar-coated apple-ey goodness about the size of a golf ball...maybe a lil bigger if you get lucky. Chunks of warm apple inside....*sighs*. And the price keeps on rising each year, now it's $6 for a dozen and NOBODY buys just a dozen...people usually buy a few dozen EACH! And this is one of the problems. You can be in line for 3 hours, and be like in the "end zone" only 5 people ahead of you...when they yell out "SOLD OUT"!! And this has happened to me...well not the three hours...I try to get someone else to do that while I go look at the craft and jewelery booths...but the almost there and then all gone they say! Which is idiotic! Make up some more dough fools! You're raking in thousands of dollars a day during the festival, people drive 2 hours just to steal...I mean buy our town's famous apple fritters!
Sorry I went away for a minute, talking about them made me have to go get and eat a cold one...still delish!
