Telling someone they should seek professional help when they don't have issues they're trying to deal with is bad enough, but when you know they do it makes it even worse!<br /><br />Also, I've been writing stories and poems since I knew how to, and I've never in my life heard of that rubbish about exclamation marks showing you're joking. They are to emphasize points, indicate emotion in your comment, etc. But they do not indicate that you are definately joking. An exclamation point can mean that you are joking, I suppose. But it can also mean you are annoyed, upset, etc.<br /><br />Seriously, if she insists on behaving in this way, you're better off without her. I'm sure it hurts, but just remember that people like that aren't worth bothering with, and all further communication with her will do - from what I can tell from communication thus far - is to hurt you more. And I don't like to see those people I consider to be friends hurt!<br /><br />That exclamation point is to emphasize emotion, not the fact I'm joking.
