Wanchai Ferry Review and Giveaway!!

Thanks to MYBLOGSPARK, I got to try Wanchai Ferry's Frozen Entree! Each frozen entrée has all the ingredients needed to prepare a great-tasting, complete Chinese meal for 2 in only 14 minutes! They come in five delicious flavors including Orange Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, Spicy Garlic Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken and Sweet & Spicy Shrimp. Additionally, all of the entrees have no added MSG!

We decided to try both the Orange Chicken and the Shrimp Lo Mein and make it a Chinese night. The Orange Chicken was too sweet for our taste buds, but my sisters really loved the spices they used and the amount of veggies. We had a problem with the rice turning out gushy, and they need to supply some extra sauce. It would actually be better without the rice, we think, so you may want to try that. The Shrimp Lo Mein was very sweet, and we found the shrimp too chewy, but that could be our own stove. The pasta didn't really fit as the noodles weren't Chinese-style, and the carrots need to be cooked longer as they are really thick. We also were not the biggest fans of the breading, but again, that is just our personal preferences. One thing we noticed was there are a lot of instructions, so you really have to keep your wits about you as you make these entrees.

For people who like sweet food, this will probably be a fave. I have never been a fan of sweet meat, so that probably influenced my take on it. It wasn't like I am saying it was bad, we just found it too sweet for our taste buds. If you like Chinese though, and you like sweet meat, or sweet food period, go out and pick from one of Wanchai Ferry's 5 meals. You get to cook Chinese at home, without having to have a culinary degree.

With Wanchai Ferry™ Frozen Entreés, you can enjoy Chinese restaurant quality Shrimp Lo Mein in your own home in 14 minutes. And there's no delivery guy involved.
