Quiet Sundays

Uurggh. I got totally OCD last night. Even though I was so tired from the wedding and clean-up, when an OCD urge hits, I tend to follow it. I decided I wanted to go through my Itunes folder and totally organize, make sure all folders have the right music, that the folders have the right titles of albums, etc. And after doing all of that, well if you have Itunes, then you know it totally screws up your Itunes. It considers all that moved music as missing, so you have to go and find it....for each of the missing songs, which was a LOT. And I was (ocd) determined to get it all done before I went to bed. So I was up way too long! When I finally fell asleep, I slept for about 10 hours straight. Ahhhh but it felt so good! It was very much needed after the last week.

It's such a good thing I wrote a long post yesterday, because it was just a lazy Sunday today. We watched NCIS episodes, had dinner, and those of us awake are just chillin'. I am watching the E! show Kendra right now, she is getting married. Aww. LOL. Since it is just a chill Sunday, I am posting a soothing video by Michael Buble. I am a huge fam of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, etc., so I have decided I do like Buble's covers of these songs. I am now a Buble fan! He evokes that old Hollywood glamour that Frank and Dean and Perry and Tony did. I told you I am really a fan of the old classics. Not just the music, I watched Frank Sinatra movies and Dean Martin ones. I grew up loving musicals and this type of music, it is such a part of me. And Michael Buble is making the music more popular again, new fans have no idea that these songs they are falling in love with were first sung by the Rat Pack and other wonderful men.

I'm glad my OCD only shows itself with my trichotillomania. And that I have mostly under control.

I've got a really easy way of not having to worry about that... I leave finding the tunes to my Dad. He puts the stuff on the ipod for me, and the programme is on his PC... The music on my laptop just gets played via Windows media player. Works for me!

AGH I know what you mean about the music getting lost. I decided once to organize my music too, and that just took wayyy too long to work afterwards with iTunes and stuff. Oh well.
Be sure and pop by & leave a note! It would really make my day! :)

I don't generally mess with ITunes unless there's something I'm wanting right this minute.
